This was Will's response after I told him that when his blanket was done being washed, I would sneak into his room while he was sleeping and put the clean, warm blanket next to his face.......

Will - "Yeah, so I can smell the clean blanket and not have to smell stinky dad when he sleeps next to me."
"Mom, dad stinks sometimes. Do dads start to stink when they get bigger?"
Mom - "Sometimes they do."
Will - "I hope I don't stink when I am a dad."

Spring-like sunny blue skies had Will and Max dusting off their bikes and heading to Magnusson Park, taking a break to toss rocks in the water and guide Uncle Jon boats through some rough seas.

Whistler was special this year because Will was able to hit the slopes with 3 full days of lessons. Tentative and tearful at first, he came to love making pizzas (snowplow) and going sooper fast. After long days on the slopes he and Max went sled riding, and hung out at the pool and with their friends.

In preparation for the Washington Caucus, Will and Max walked from Seattle Center to downtown Seattle in support of Senator Obama. Will's favorite chant: "Obama--08--let's get this country straight." Max later admitted that he was dreaming of Huckabee.

Will's insight: "When you leave pee in the toilet for a long time it stinks but when you poop it stinks right away. Kinda funny how that works out, huh?"
